Antique Art Nouveau WMF Glass Cage Vase
A Würtembergische Metallwarenfabrik silver plated cage vase with cut glass insert c.1910-25. A very faint ostrich hallmark to the underside details its provenance, as well as a hand engraved indication it was once one of a pair. Typically Art Nouveau, with stylised foliate detail to the body and arms.
In good condition for its age with a few discrete marks to the glass but no chips and some tarnish to the silver plate but in better condition than other extant examples.
Measures approx. 26cm high by 9cm wide with a 5.5cm diameter opening
