ANTIQUE PAIR OF CARVED WOOD MIRRORED SHELF SCONCES
A pair of Black Forest carved wood Victorian mirrored shelves, originally intended as candle sconces to maximise reflected light. Gothic in style, they are naively carved with wonderful age to the mirror plate. Our favoured level of perfectly imperfect, the hinged shelves once folded, but are now fixed, and there are plenty of small signs of age and use in the loveliest way.
Each measures approx. 28.5cm long, 18cm wide with a 10cm projection
