Barbour Silver Plated Octagonal Tray
An early 20th century hallmarked nickel silver plated Jacobean pattern serving tray by US makers Barbour Silver Co. In an elongated octagon shape, our research indicates the Jacobean pattern was produced between 1900-1940 with sets styled upon fine silverware from the 17th century.
Plenty of signs of wear to the central oval as it to be expected, but polishes to a high shine with a stylised letter ‘B’ for Barbour etched on the edge surface.
USA, c.1920
Approx. dimensions: L 38cm x W 25cm x D 2.5cm
