English Ceramic Rosette Amphora Vase c.1925
Posing a little mystery, the base of this sweet vase is stamped Wedgwood 3DP (1925), but we don’t believe it to be an original. Possibly made for sale by a Staffordshire rival in the first half of the 20th century based on an earlier Victorian piece which would have been unglazed and more richly decorated. Dubious origins but a very charming vase nonetheless and certainly with some age.
England, possibly 1920-1950
Approx. dimensions: H 19cm x W 10.5cm
