English Plaster Bust of a Gentleman c.1980
Sourced locally, an expressive bust of a gentleman in plaster and overpainted in bronze brown. Likely be a talented amateur or as a study for a larger work. Perhaps a little haughty but certainly very characterful and a nicely rendered decorative piece.
Signs of age to the overpaint, with an earlier layer of metallic copper peeking through in places and remnants of green baize to the base. Signed ‘AOC’ to the reverse.
