Pair of Art Nouveau Style Patinated Candlesticks
A mid-century pair of French Art Nouveau style candelesticks in richly patinated copper. Heavy and nicely made, each stylised swirl stem holds candleholder with tapered leaf drip trays that branch from three leaves that make up the base.
We have left them unpolished, preserving the natural patination with hints of verdigris and copper showing through in places. Each candle holder can be unscrewed allowing different positioning of the individual leaves.
