Far from perfect but this pale gold alabaster plafonnier remains beautiful even with its flaws. Carved from Egyptian gold alabaster known for its translucency and movement, our images have been captured throughout the day to demonstrate the effect of differing light conditions on the stone.
Marks, scuffs, chips abound but in solid condition suspended by three chains from its original fittings.
