By an unknown artist, a Swedish Art Deco sculpture of a bathing nude. The stylised kneeling figure is beautifully formed, and sits atop a square marble plinth, possibly a later addition. The applied verdigris appears to be overlaid onto solid copper, revealed by a touch of peeling to the underside of one foot.
Some light marks to the finish commensurate with age and the fixed points are a little rough but nothing to detract from a wonderful level of detail.
Likely Sweden, c.1930
Approx. dimensions: H 21cm x W 10cm x D 9cm
