A rare Stoneware glazed two-part plafonnier by Karl Robert Svensson for Höganäs Keramik. With much variation of colour in the glaze, ranging between browns, blues and greys, with a blue-green tint to the inner.
Both parts have a subtle raised scallop detail ringing the top edge of the surface, with a hole in the top rose for a cable to pass through, and a fluted finial fishing the base of the bottom dish.
The two parts originally strung by a lost brass chain, we have paired it with cord and tassels that can be supplied upon request. A fixing bracket (as pictured) will be required to suspend the two pieces together without chain.

Sweden, c.1930
Approx. dimensions: Top Rose - Diam 13.5cm x 8cm
Bottom Dish - Diam 30cm x H 14cm
