Vintage Canted Edge Venetian Wall Mirror

An early to mid-20th century large classic Venetian wall mirror, with raised crosshatch glass surround to the bevelled mirror plate and canted edges. Aged to perfection the mirror plate is largely clear with natural foxing occurring on the inner and outer floral etched surrounds.

It is not without significant signs of its age - notably a crack in the bottom right edge panel, and each of its four leaf tipped corners have suffered chips. the foliate panel keepers are all in place besides on the centre bottom panel, and the crystal stud screw top has been lost on the bottom right corner also. Overall however, it is still a wonderfully striking piece.
