VINTAGE CARVED ALABASTER TWIST LAMP
A very lovely creamy pale alabaster lamp, carved into a twist column. As is to be expected with vintage alabaster there are some small nicks and scratches to the soft stone, but overall in good vintage condition and a great decorative piece.
An indication that is an older piece that has been more recently updated is that the lamp holder spins around the central thread when twisted, although this does not affect its use. Fitted with a two core white cord and British plug.
Measures approx. 28.5cm high (including lamp holder) with an 8cm diameter base
