Vintage French Art Deco Chrome and Glass Sconces
With an excellent profile, a pair of vintage French Art Deco polished silver chrome sconces with curled feather glass appliques c.1930. Each is hand-made and the chrome surface has a high mirror shine, with a rounded, tapered triangular shape. The glass feathers are fitted into slots and kept by the original screws and keepers to the interior, missing only one original small bolt.
Ready to be fitted with lamp holders we are currently offering for sale without electrification (but may fit the internal workings if we have in our possession for long enough). Several holes have been drilled to the inside for easy hanging, and the inside shows the real age of these pieces as the exterior chrome surface has relatively little wear. The top edges have a acquired a slight wave over the years but nothing pronounced.
