VINTAGE PAIR OF MIRROR SHIELD VERDIGRIS SCROLLED WALL LIGHTS
A mid to late 20th century pair of shield-shaped mirrored wall lights, with applied verdigris patinated scrollwork which creates a wonderful projection and sense of presence.
There is a nice level of mild surface wear to the mirror plates, with each being affixed to their wooden backing with three crystal headed screws (one has been lost to the base of one piece). Acquired from Sweden but likely Italian in origin, the iron work is slightly more aged on one, but overall a striking and unique pair.
They are substantial pieces with each weighing approx. 2.8kg
Each measures approx. 32cm long by 29cm wide, with a 14cm projection
