Vintage Pair of Carved Wood Ionic Columns
The very definition of characterful vintage, these beautifully aged Ionic columns have an unreal texture, colour and patination. Carved from a lightweight wood, unfortunately I know nothing about their origin other than that they were sourced from a dealer who favours more ancient architectural pieces. They are far from pristine, with the original stain faded in places and plenty of cracks, but they remain solid, straight and striking.
Each measures 40.5cm x 17cm at the widest point of the base.
