Vintage Pair of Scallop Shell Candle Sconces
Made in the Rococo style, a pair of elegantly curved scallop shell sconces, likely late 20th century pieces and perennially popular. Possibly made in brass and perhaps powder coated black, they are solid pieces with a nice weight and finely rendered.
There are some scuffs to the surface revealing the brass below which can be easily remedied if you prefer, but we like the tell-tale signs that they have been well used and loved prior to our acquisition. Each has a discrete hanging hook to the reverse.
Each measures approx. 21cm long by 18cm wide with a 9cm projection
