We are unsure of the country of origin of this hand blown mid-century piece as it shares the characteristics of two glassmaking centres, Italy and Sweden. Distinctly Italian applied rigaree detail flanks each side of its tall but slim profile clear glass body, which is shaped and fluted in the manner of Swedish Brutalism. A good mix we feel, and a heavy piece of quality despite the mystery of its origin.
