Tall Swedish Pewter Sphere Lamp by C. Andersson

£220.00

A silver pewter Svenkst Tenn Swedish Grace period lamp by Celestin Andersson, c.1932. Lightly engraved with discrete abstracted foliate stems. The flared rounded base sits on three flattened ball feet, with an orb and tapered body topped by a scalloped rim.

Rewired with a sympathetic silver nickel lamp holder and ivory braided cord, the makers mark is etched into the underside of the base and we have left the piece unpolished. Two almost imperceptible flat spots to the side of the sphere and a slight lean from certain angles but overall a wonderful piece.

Please note shade is not included

Measure approx. 43cm high with a 15cm diameter base
