Spoken For

A 19th century Renaissance Revival wood x-frame ‘curule’ chair (possibly in walnut), with scrolled arms and feet, and figural and foliate carvings. As is typical carved grotesque masques sitting in acanthus leaves flank a scrolled foliage seat back, and the seat itself is comprised of panels to form a curve. A solid and well aged piece with a fantastic profile, we have left it untouched in its original unrestored condition.
