Vintage Silver Metal Shallow Platter Tray
A round silver polished silver metal shallow platter tray with scallop trim to the raised edge. Thought by the dealer to be silver plate but more akin to pewter upon closer inspection. The only hint at its origin is an enigmatic stamp to the underside bearing ‘Elarte’ but regardless of the material it is a useful and pretty piece. Plenty of patina and marks commensurate with a soft metal meeting a vigorous polish.
